Every fall, the old dispute heats up between Virginia and Massachusetts over rights to the “First Thanksgiving.” But tied up at the docks of Jamestown, VA, the replicas of the Godspeed, Discovery, and Susan Constant—the three ships that brought English setters to Jamestown—would seem to give the edge to Virgina.  The settlers from those vessels celebrated Thanksgiving before the Massachusetts Pilgrims “ever left port” on the Mayflower.
