November Gale on the Chesapeake

In the fall of 2008, I helped crew on the delivery of a 44′ Cherubini ketch from Flag Harbor, MD, to Deltaville, VA, a passage of about 70 miles. The bad news was that it was very cold and blowing a full gale; the good news was that the wind (and the waves, for the most part) were behind us.
